The Consulate of Sweden in San Diego strives to promote Sweden, Swedish business and Swedish interests in the San Diego region. Our main objective is to monitor and provide a broad overview of the political, economical, social, technological, environmental and legal situation in the southern California area. Data and trends are analyzed from a global perspective and provided in an easily accessed newsletter format, or in more extensive published reports. We focus on the three largest sectors of San Diego economy; telecommunication, biotechnology, and defense, but also on smaller areas of particular interest.

The Consulate is part of a progressive network including the Swedish Trade Council, Invest in Sweden Agency, Growth Analysis, The Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce and other consulates.
